Not Dead Yet

desk

The picture above pretty much says it all (and it also says, correctly, that I am a slob). My next woodworking project may well be a trundle bed that fits under my desk (of course, I’ll have to move the boxes and other crap currently underneath to make room).

My fervent hope is that after Woodworking in America, I’ll have a spare hour or so to go shopping for the mattress.

Even after all these decades, MACS still run publishing.

How bout a desk organizer as your next project? ;)

I would send a pic of my office if it wasn’t so embarrassing. Mine looked like that about 10 years ago. I used to call it my organized mess because I knew exactly where everything was and what was in each pile. Now, it’s just a mess. A depressing mess at that.
Not to change the subject, but did Chuck B. get lost in the piles?

As a keyboard snob it amazes me that people really use that skinny keyboard.
Long Live the IBM Model M.

    See you in in Winston.

  5. Peggy Schneider says:

The only thing missing is a cat on the keyboard. Surely you must have an extra one to bring to work.

  6. miathet says:

I agree, where are the cat resting places

HA! This post gave me a good laugh this morning, thanks!

Kind of desk related…When does the Oct. issue mail?

    • fitz says:

I got mine in the postal mail at home yesterday…so you should see it any day now (if you don’t, let me know and I’ll send you a copy, of course)

  9. Tom Goodman says:

You’re not a slob. You’re a visual organizer. You need to see your stuff.
    Keep up the good work.

    Best,
    Tom
